Fun on the Floor House - Children's Bedroom

Go wild in the jungle! This is kid's room décor taken to a new extreme! Amazingly striking and colourful, this children's bedroom not only looks totally fantastic but it's a completely safe and comfy play area too, suitable for children of any age.

Unbelievable though it may seem at first, many of the furnishings in this room were handmade from carpets! The 'jungle bunk-bed' in the corner has giant 'leaves' made from carpet sticking out all over it, around it and inside it, making a great place to play, hide or generally climb about on! The huge chair, which looks like a monster flower in the middle of the room, utilises neon pink and bright orange carpet to make the giant 'petals'.

On the walls are jungle illustrations in big panels by interior artist Jessica Graham, which is her own take on Rousseau. Danielle Proud has created a remarkable carpet pattern for the floor of the room which echoes the wall art beautifully. She chose a shockingly bright green carpet for the base, inlaid with spreading vine and floral designs interweaving with each other all around the room - and most importantly, for all kid's room décor... it's stain resistant!
